Beginning July 1, 2009, from every escrow (representing the buyer and/or seller) that I open and successfully close, I will make a monetary donation to Furniture for Families, a local, non-profit, all volunteer furniture bank.
I have volunteered my time to this wonderful organization for over 4 years and see firsthand the necessary service they provide to the people in our community.
They receive as donations, from people like yourself, good, serviceable, used furniture which they distribute to qualified clients who are referred by caseworkers from social service agencies.
Times are challenging for most all of us now. But I do believe that there is always a little more we can do to help our fellow neighbor.
